The 4th Training Course within the project “Networks for Youth – Brighter Partners for Brighter Future”, implemented within the “Capacity Building in the field of Youth – Western Balkan Window”, Erasmus+ Programme, was conducted in Kranevo, Bulgaria, from 16th – 22nd May, 2019.
50 Youth workers participated at the trainings, representatives were from Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Project partners organizations: Balkan Development Center (SRB), Citizens Initaitive for the Futrue-CIF (SRB), Municipality of Kuršumlija (SRB), Innovaform (HUN), Municipality of Elin Pelin (BUG) and the host organization, National Association of the People with Acquired Disabilities –NAPHU (BUG).
Training topics were:
Promotion of Youth Volunteering and potentials of voluntary activities to activiate local youth and reaching NEETs and youth with disabilities. The training motto was: that everyone can be a volunteer and that there are many ways to reach and motivate youth to be volunteers. Topics were:
- How to reach and involve them
- How to design and fund voluntary activities through EU funds
- How to attract stakehloders from public and private businesses in actions
- Develop practical skills for design and management of voluntary activities
- Presentation of best practices for involving youth in voluntary activities
The Training was held in hotel “Aqua Life˝ in Kranevo, Bulgaria.
The training course was an opportunity for participants from different civil society organizations to present their experiences in voluntary activities but at the same to increase their knowledge in designing and implementing such actions.
During the TC, participants were provided with the opportunity to also spend their free time to enjoy the beauties of the Bulgarian seacoast region and visit interesting historical and cultural sites in the region.
Since the initiation of the first round of training courses new friendships, collaborations and numerous project ideas were created. Participants and CSOs included in the training courses will have support of experts in the coming months to share their experiences at the local level and to use the services of the Virtual Support Centre in the further design and elaboration of their project ideas.
